Strong Arts | Strong Communities is a one-day professional development workshop is designed to build the capacity of arts nonprofits and promote community and economic development linked to the arts. Experienced professionals will present practical information and models that will help your community work together to maximize the contributions of arts and culture.
The workshop will review current research, increase understanding of civic systems, develop business and civic partnerships, build leadership, and strengthen community engagement. Participants will leave with a concrete plan of action. The day ends with a networking reception to foster relationships between civic, arts, and business participants and strengthen community ties.
