At the 20th Annual Business for the Arts Awards™, CBCA honored businesses for their leadership, commitment, and vision in developing exemplary partnerships and engagement with the arts.

Gates Corporation is exceptional in its charitable giving and strong cultural partnerships which include Denver Art Museum, Denver Botanic Gardens, Museum of Contemporary Art|Denver, the contribution of artworks to the University of Colorado Business School, a sculpture garden developed in collaboration with RTD, and their One Gates/One World art collection. Gates supports the arts that build a great city.
- Gunnison Country TimesGunnison Country Times is committed to community journalism incorporating strong arts coverage, donated advertising, sponsorships, a special Artists in Newspapers publication, and contributions to “Communications and the Media” The Arts in the Small Community publication. Gunnison Country Times sets the standard for how a small local newspaper can support its community through the arts.

Event entertainment highlights included outstanding performances by Central City Opera, Colorado Springs Conservatory, Lemon Sponge Cake Contemporary Ballet and Physically Handicapped Actors & Musical Artists League (PHAMALy). Molly Hughes, CBS4 News Anchor, emceed the event.
