2008-2009 Leadership Arts Announced Colorado's only nonprofit arts and cultural board member training program
Denver, CO — For more than 12 years, Colorado Business Committee for the Arts' (CBCA) Leadership Arts program has matched over 400 professionals from all businesses, industries and sectors to the needs of arts organizations through programming that educates, inspires and equips leaders to effectively serve on boards of directors of arts and cultural nonprofits.

CBCA is now accepting applications for the 2008-2009 Leadership Arts class. Applications are due August 31, 2008 and are available at www.cbca.org. Some scholarships are awarded based on financial need.

Program participants should answer yes to one or more of the following questions:
Are you...

• seeking ways to contribute to your community and to make a difference?
• interested in learning more about arts and culture?
• ready to utilize your business skills in a nonprofit leadership capacity?
• looking for stimulating professional development opportunities for your employees?
• an emerging leader who would look to hone your leadership skills and increase your confidence?
• continuously engaging with other people in support of your business goals?
• committed to philanthropy?
