“On My Own Time” Multi-Company Employee Art Exhibition Announced by Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA)

Denver, CO – Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA) announces the 15th “On My Own Time” (OMOT), Annual Multi-Company Employee Art Exhibition. It is open to the public May 18 - 30, 2007, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday, in the downtown Denver Park Central building lobby, 1515 Arapahoe Street.

The OMOT program is designed to identify, encourage and acknowledge the creative talents that exist within CBCA member companies. Participating companies hold individual OMOT art exhibitions which are juried by a distinguished panel of professionals chosen by CBCA. Winners are selected from hundreds of entries created by employees and their family members in three categories: 2-Dimensional, 3-Dimensional and Young Artists (age 18 and younger). The winning works are then publicly exhibited in the OMOT Multi-Company Employee Art Exhibition.

The winners of the 2007 OMOT Multi-Company Employee Art Exhibition will be announced and acknowledged at a public awards reception for their outstanding arts achievement on Friday, May 25, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at Park Central.

The companies participating in OMOT 2007 are Brookfield Properties, CH2M Hill, Delta Dental, Denver Water, Ernst & Young, Kaiser Permanente, Medical Center of Aurora, OppenheimerFunds, Pinnacol Assurance, Swedish Medical Center and US Bank. Art works include paintings, sculptures, photos, drawings, pottery, glass, jewelry, carvings, textiles and digital media.
