Identifying, acknowledging and encouraging employee creativity is more important to business success than ever before.
CBCA just completed the 16th On My Own Time (OMOT) Multi-Company Employee Exhibition in downtown Denver. The show was a success by all standards with an estimated 4000+ people viewing the artwork. Close to 80 works from employees and their families of six CBCA member companies were shown in the lobby of Republic Plaza from May 22nd to June 10th. Numerous artists sold their work and hundreds of people voted for their favorite entry. Pinnacol Assurance employee Maureen Hearty took home the People's Choice Award for her whimsical sculpture Swing Therapy and Scot Darr's contemporary clock, Time Eternal, won the Best of Show Award. Look for the next OMOT exhibition in the spring of 2011.
