Business in the Arts Awards
Luncheon - Annual luncheon attracting more than 600 guests
each year. Volunteer commitment: October through March, approximately
two planning meetings and volunteer assistance at the event
in March 2005. Additional opportunities exist to provide office
support for event execution, such as telephone calls and assistance
with mailings. |

CBCA Night At… - Bimonthly
special performances and advance viewings of cultural events,
usually in the evenings, for member company employees. Volunteer
commitment: Assist at the events with set-up, registration,
etc. |

On My Own Time (OMOT) - Annual
employee art exhibitions designed to encourage the creative
talents of the people who work for CBCA member companies.
Volunteer commitment: Assist with hanging artwork (previous
experience not required) for the multi-company show and volunteering
at the multi-company reception in May 2004. |

Economic Impact Study - Every
other year CBCA, working with Deloitte & Touche, measures
the economic and social impact of the arts in metro Denver.
Speakers are needed to raise awareness of metro Denver's $1
billion cultural economy and the importance of the Scientific
and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) to the richness of
our cultural community. Volunteer commitment: Two-hour training
session and speaking engagements as scheduled. Volunteer opportunities
also exist for Fall 2004 events related to the release of
the 2003 study. |

Workshops and seminars - Training
to build skills and knowledge within the business and arts
communities. Volunteer commitment: Assist at events with set-up,
registration, etc. |

Office Support -- Assist with
mailings, telephone calls, and general office tasks. |
