Tourism Pays!
Denver Initiative 1A also passed in the November election. This small 1% increase the lodging tax will generate approximately $4 million annually for marketing Denver, increasing tourists and conventions, promoting the city’s cultural facilities, hotels, restaurants, shops, car rentals and entertainment centers, creating jobs and generating sales tax.
CBCA supports increased marketing efforts as part of our commitment to a premier cultural community essential to business and community vitality and to stimulating business and community success through cultural economic development and tourism.
